I recently stayed at Keramiek in Arita for a couple of nights and had a fantastic experience. The guesthouse is located in the heart of town, making it convenient to explore the area on foot. It's a unique, traditional Japanese house with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The Dutch owner was delightful and provided us with helpful local information. The shared living area was a highlight, with a spacious layout, a big screen TV, and a charming bar area. The Japanese room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and the entire place was immaculately clean. Free parking was also available right in front of the guesthouse. I highly recommend staying at Keramiek for an authentic and memorable Arita trip.
100% Recommend this hotel.

The location of the guesthouse was absolutely fantastic. It was right in the heart of the charming old part of town, surrounded by pottery shops and kilns. I loved being able to easily explore and find unique porcelain pieces. the host was incredibly helpful and friendly. She provided me with useful local information and even gave me a ride to another part of town for more shopping. the hospitality was truly outstanding.
That the bedroom I stayed in was a bit small and the wifi didn't work there. I must say that the bed was incredibly comfortable, so that made up for it.
